Manulife promotes access to education for underprivileged students

On 14 November 2014, Manulife Cambodia donated 150 bicycles and 150 helmets to the students of the Pour un Sourire d’Enfant organisation (PSE) for supporting their fresh academic year 2014-2015. The event was organised at the PSE’s office in Phnom Penh and attended by representatives from Manulife Cambodia, PSE, students and members of the media.

Phnom Penh, Cambodia – On October 24, 2013, the leading Canadian-based financial services company, Manulife Cambodia, in collaboration with the Asia Injury Prevention (AIP) Foundation, held a “Helmets for Families” helmet handover ceremony at Wat Preah Put Primary School in Phnom Penh. On that occasion, 647 helmets were donated to students, teachers, and parents to promote road safety and to raise awareness around the issue of helmet use.
